Kylie Smith is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and holds a Master's degree in Counselling and Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University and a Bachelors of Commerce from McMaster University. Additionally, Kylie is certified as a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and also holds her Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation with the Human Resources Professionals Association.
Kylie provides psychotherapy services to both individuals and couples by working from an integrative perspective utilizing evidence-based frameworks such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), the Gottman Method, and emotionally focused therapy (EFT). Additionally, she has specialized training and experiential knowledge in motivational interviewing, mourning, grief, and bereavement, crisis intervention, perinatal and postpartum issues, and is qualified to provide couple’s therapy.
